Sure enough its a netlabel that brings me back to the Junto. I'm working a night job now so most of my music time is at night, where I can't really make any sound, so there is a lot of audio editing. Great for a remix.
I was very excited to see Jared's name on here. I've been familiar with his work for a long time. We even did a split a few years back.
For the sample of his piece I merely reversed it and paul stretched it. I loved the way that sounded so I based the rest of the piece around it.
For the Tenz/Zaradzur piece I kept it mostly intact. I just repeated it and changed the pitch more and more. This was an experiment with microtones.
I honestly was sure what to do with the Small Radio segment. I'm not really that excited about synth music in major keys. I fucked around with this one for a while. Eventually I ended up looping a part that was a fraction of second. It sounded cool. Thats the part that fades in and out. For the main beat, I took the same clip and lowered the pitch significantly
