This is from a song I originally created for a box set tribute to Twin Peaks that Hal Harmon put out on his tape label Forever Escaping Boredom. I had a lot of fun making the original track, and was excited to revisit it. I started by isolating a piece from the track that was a statement by Agent Cooper (a character from Twin Peaks). It's one that I had considered looping for the original. For the rest of it I chose random samples from the track to loop for the 2 second, 5 second, and 7 second loops. I knew I wanted the longer pause to be on the Agent cooper track. The 1 second pause I placed on the track that was the least droney, so there wouldn't be any abrupt breaks in the sound. Then I tailed the two drone parts with fade in and out.
