about

This is databending at its most excessive. I kind of hate music scores. I have almost completely given up on them since my experience in concert band in middle school. It bored me. So I took a more interpretive approach. There are 24 lines of sheet music in the picture. So I took the image, loaded it into audacity, and ran it threw different effects, 24 times. I put these 24 parts together in rather arbitrary, but progressively meaningful ways. I then added shit tons of reverb to the end result. But that seemed so empty and so vain. I thought, Saul is missing from this. So I found a video on Youtube that had Saul talking. He's quiet the philosophical artist. In the beginning, he says "In the morning, I get up and I work, its a necessity." This sums up pretty bluntly how I feel about making music.
