I began with a basic Paulstretch on the "Aftermath" track. This is essentially the canvas that I painted the other elements upon.

The Sean Archibald Track, I cut to all hell. I went at it randomly cutting patches and pasting them at other random points in the track. Some parts I just repeated for a bit. Then I divided this into several parts, separated by silence, and added a generous dose of echo to each part. I have to admit, this was my least favorite track to work with (sorry Sean), and even after editing it like this I still wasn't happy. I ended up reversing the track, and finally added even more echo to the whole.

I took only the last ten seconds of the "C2" track and set that to fade in at 17 seconds and repeat for the rest of the piece.

I took another patch of that and gave it a double dose of Paulstretch. God bless freeware audio effects!!

I came into this wanting to create something ambient, and hopefully a lot less recognizable from the originals. I think I succeeded for the most part.
